The Nemo TIG is Cinelli’s latest Made in Italy high-performance steel road frame. It looks and rides the way in which the legendary Supercorsa – the world’s longest running production steel frame – might have looked had it been designed for racing today rather than in the 1950s. The first prototypes of this frame were born according to the specifications of a recently retired Italian professional rider working at Cinelli who, seduced by the Columbus tubing being manufactured on the factory floor attached to the Cinelli offices, demanded that Cinelli produce a pure racing steel frame that took full advantage of the latest advances in high tech steel tubing manufacturing. Accordingly the Nemo has been designed for riders used to riding high-end carbon fiber racing frames, unwilling to sacrifice “race feeling”, but looking for something incomparably pleasurable to ride in the way only a steel frame can be. It employs custom-shaped Columbus Spirit triple-butted tubes (the seat stays, for example, are the identical shape of those found on the original 1981 Cinelli Laser road model), with a highly contemporary 44mm mega-oversized downtube, conical CNC’d head tube and Columbus’ latest Futura straight blade monocoque carbon fiber fork. In the spirit of its older cousin, the Supercorsa, the Nemo is available not only made-to-measure, but also in 60 different color options Custom built to order, about 6-month delivery time.

Designed to withstand the demands of the most intense urban commuting, the Zydeco Silver bootleg is equipped with a heavy duty aluminium front rack (max load 8kg), firmly anchored to a customized version of Columbus’ X carbon fiber fork, super wide 20 mm riser handlebars, 700 x 35c tyres (max tyre clearance 40c), custom rivet system, reflective details, 3D decals and much, much, more.

A new velvet-textured Cinelli tape has been used in the realization of this unique Mike Giant edition bar tape. The artwork, executed exclusively for our use in this product, is Mike Giant’s San Franciscan interpretation of vintage tattoo symbols. In the late 2000s, with increasing excitement over the fixed-gear movement, and in particular over Cinelli’s collaborations and friendship’s with MASH and RVCA, Cinelli President Antonio Colombo found himself traveling to California more and more frequently and socializing in the new scene created around these bicycles. On one of these trips in 2008 he met Mike Giant, already a world-renowned tattoo artist working more and more in illustration. As well as being an avid everyday rider, Mike had an extremely strong interest in fixed gear bikes, their subversive politics, and the kids riding them. In Antonio Colombo he found not only an eager and willing patron for his art (Giant would have a show at the Colombo’s Milanese gallery in February 2010), but also a vehicle for bringing his drawings into explicit contact with the fixed-gear movement on a global level.

The Cinelli Supercorsa is the world’s most iconic steel bicycle frame and has been in uninterrupted production for almost 70 years. The first Supercorsa was designed by Cino Cinelli, together with his framebuilder Luigi Valsassina in the early 1950s. His stated goal was “the perfect functional harmony between the three main parts of the frame: the fork, the main triangle and the rear stays.” This harmony was to be achieved through the development of stiffness, elasticity, aerodynamics and aesthetics, with each component of the frame completely redesigned according to the radical criteria of Cino, the stubborn perfectionist. After 15 years experimenting with and refining what he described as the most “philosophical” piece of equipment produced by his brand, Cino and Valsassina arrived at the iconic solutions still so clearly recognizable in today’s Supercorsa: the proprietary sloping fork crown, the double-bolt fastback seat stays, pointed lugs and perfect Italian stage racing geometry. Since then – the mid-1960s – the frame has undergone only two significant modifications: a new graphic system for the frame designed by Milanese legened Italo Lupi in 1979 to complement the introduction of his “winged-C” Cinelli logo and, in 1984, the introduction of the Cinelli Spoiler bottom bracket, the only microcast bicycle frame part to ever be granted a patent. All other modifications to the frame have regarded subtle and “under-the-bonnet” technological updates of steel materials and manufacturing techniques, allowing for the original ride quality and aesthetic of the Supercorsa to remain respectfully unchanged. Each frame is made to order. Please allow 6-8 months.

Wave is the Cinelli ribbon line inspired by legendary windsurfing, it's aesthetics and the specific innovation. Cinelli borrowed the features of the special windsurfing boom ribbon operating in the most extreme conditions, to bring the same comfortable and safe feeling into the hands of the most passionate riders. Their new bar tape WAVE, represents a further evolution in their historical approach to EVA-based bar tapes as well as a return to local, Italian manufacturing. The base of WAVE is the brand’s signature EVA tape to which a new, proprietary, brushing technique has been applied. This technique, developed in conjunction with their local manufacturing partner, is inspired by the treatments applied to competition-use windsurf booms and allows Cinelli to enhance the grip and feel of the tape without impacting the durability of the product. Includes caps and finishing tape

The Hobootleg is Cinelli’s flagship steel adventure bike. Since its original conception and fine tuning in two successive editions of the mythical Tour d’Afrique in 2012 and 2013 (genesis to which the bicycle’s livery pays homage), the Hobo Bootleg, has broken the Guinness World Record for crossing the world by bicycle as well as conquered all seven of the world’s highest mountain passes and dialed up more than a million kilometres in adventure riding. The result is a tried and tested, ultra-reliable, Hoboing adventure bike like no other in the world. From the use of double-butted Columbus tubes, to its electrophoretic paint job, to its Tubus bike ricks, to its custom ovalised Cinelli handlebar, to its bartape decorated with the sign language of early 20th century American hobos, there is no detail of this bike which has not been obsessively tuned, tested, retuned and perfected over the last 5 years to enable you to ride it, straight out of the box, as hard and far as you like without a second thought.
