Details
Superstar is the racing machine. Carbon innovation in its finest form: frame in high modulus monocoque carbon fiber, with flat mount disc brake setup and 12 mm thru axle. Added rear clearance allows wheels of up to 28mm and discs up to 160mm.The Superstar features the new Columbus Futura Disc fork 1-1/8 – 1-1/2”, equipped with thru axle for maximum control and ride safety.
The special horizontal curve mainteins the head tube consistent even when met with strong vertical forces on the frame, which typically cause a deformation of the wheel base (a road obstacle or a sudden burst out of the saddle). GCD improves control as well as the overall predictability of the bike.
The absence of corners on the frame surface allows for full use of the carbon layers, optimizing the overall stiffness of the structure while improving performance.
The internal cable routing is designed to avoid pinch points in the hydraulic sytem, while maintaining maximum efficiency in sytem operation.
