Their new bar tape WAVE, represents a further evolution in their historical approach to EVA-based bar tapes as well as a return to local, Italian manufacturing. The base of WAVE is the brand’s signature EVA tape to which a new, proprietary, brushing technique has been applied. This technique, developed in conjunction with their local manufacturing partner, is inspired by the treatments applied to competition-use windsurf booms and allows Cinelli to enhance the grip and feel of the tape without impacting the durability of the product. Cinelli Gel tape has a Vibra-Absorb gel layer on inner tape surface. High content natural cork in a polyurethane base. Includes plugs, finishing strips and enough tape for a full drop bar.

A new velvet-textured Cinelli tape has been used in the realization of this unique Mike Giant edition bar tape. The artwork, executed exclusively for our use in this product, is Mike Giant’s San Franciscan interpretation of vintage tattoo symbols. In the late 2000s, with increasing excitement over the fixed-gear movement, and in particular over Cinelli’s collaborations and friendship’s with MASH and RVCA, Cinelli President Antonio Colombo found himself traveling to California more and more frequently and socializing in the new scene created around these bicycles. On one of these trips in 2008 he met Mike Giant, already a world-renowned tattoo artist working more and more in illustration. As well as being an avid everyday rider, Mike had an extremely strong interest in fixed gear bikes, their subversive politics, and the kids riding them. In Antonio Colombo he found not only an eager and willing patron for his art (Giant would have a show at the Colombo’s Milanese gallery in February 2010), but also a vehicle for bringing his drawings into explicit contact with the fixed-gear movement on a global level.

DEITY Grip Clamps offer a way to customize your bike to match your style.

The Knuckleduster features a tapered internal sleeve that you have to tap onto your handlebar for full engagement. This tapered sleeve feels like it is already locked into place once fully tapped onto the bar and coupled with a single bolt lock-on clamp, you will not develop any play. The body of the grip combines the best elements of a half-waffle, mushroom ribbing, and an ergo feel. Featuring a mushroom pattern to minimize vibration.
