Cento1 Hybrid was designed for you, so whoever you are: get yours! The intelligent solutions installed on the Cento1 Hybrid enable the limits of the person riding the bike to be understood and overcome, assisting the cyclist at just the right moment. There are several options for using and managing the entire system. The simplest of these options is just to use the controller integrated into the top tube, which enables you to turn the system on and off and to select the desired level of assistance, all by pressing the backlit button. Riders looking for greater interaction with the system can download the dedicated EBIKEMOTION app from the AppStore or the PlayStore, which provides access to the system command center. This app opens the door to a whole range of functions, from the simplest (classic cycle computer functions such as display speed, distance, remaining charge level, incline etc.) to the most complex (navigation management and programming of the various outputs, recording data, setting weather forecast alerts, etc.) The intelligence of the Cento1 Hybrid doesn't stop there: the system can also help when you want to monitor other parameters - your heart rate, for example. When paired with a heart rate monitor, a maximum heart rate can be set. If your heart rate reaches the predetermined threshold during activity, the system will engage the motor, enabling your heart rate to return to within the threshold set without having to stop pedaling. One of the most important aspects for us was to achieve a record weight, and we succeeded in creating a racing bike with pedal assistance that weighs less than 12 kg. A lightweight monocoque carbon frame, high-quality mechanical components and an Ebikemotion servo-assistance system, with a total weight (motor, battery and controls) of 3.7 KG, the lightest solution on the market. When designing the Cento1 Hybrid, we focused on those individuals who are discovering the world of racing bikes for the first time, as well as the thousands of passionate cyclists who already use racing bikes, but who struggle to keep up with their friends, or who can no longer conquer their favorite climb. The Cento1 Hybrid is composed of a monocoque carbon frame and fork, built using the same composite materials and with the same technologies that we usually employ on our high-end racing bicycles. The shape and geometry of the Cento1 Hybrid frame is derived from the NDR family of racing-endurance bikes, which a more comfortable riding position, but without giving up the racing spirit. The Cento1 Hybrid is fitted with traditional-type components, such as hydraulic disc brakes, 11-speed Shimano groupset and high-profile aluminium wheels. The only component that differs from the standard equipment provided is the rear hub, which contains the drive unit that provides the pedal assistance. The energy required by the motor is delivered by the battery, which is neatly integrated into the downtube of the frame. The system is controlled (on, off and monitoring) via a button which is integrated into the top tube, enabling the rider to choose from the various assistance modes offered by the Cento1 Hybrid.
A racing frame that strikes the perfect balance between performance and comfort. The Cento10NDR will let you spend long hours in the saddle, thanks to its specially designed endurance geometry and the ACTIFLEX system: Wilier's new approach to absorbing rear vibrations generated by bumps in the road surface. The sophisticated design of the steerer tube combined with the special form of the headtube allows us to route up to three cables inside the frame. The three cables enter the steerer tube through the Alabarda or Stemma & Barra. The shifter and brake cables are routed from the levers at exactly the right angle into the steerer tube. If you're using electronic gears and disc brakes, the bike will not have any exposed cables, giving the Cento10NDR a beautifully clean look. The road bike market is evolving. New users are coming to the world of high-performance bikes with a variety of goals other than purely racing. They want more relaxed geometry, the option to fit wider tires and disc brakes, and the ability to cycle long distances without discomfort. Essentially, they want the perfect blend of responsiveness, performance, light-weight, ride quality and comfort. With the Cento10NDR, we have brought together all these aspects that until now belonged to completely different visions and experiences of cycling. Developing the ACTIFLEX project since 2014, we have woven our traditional racing DNA into the endurance world. Frame geometry is key when it comes to endurance bikes. To offer Cento10NDR riders the maximum level of racing comfort, the proportions between the frame tubes needed to be reconsidered. The final result is a position that is slightly shorter and taller than in traditional racing geometries, thanks to a shorter reach and a taller stack. This reach and stack combination gives a more comfortable position without using any spacers between the stem and the frame. How often do we see cyclists with pure racing bikes and several centimeters of spacers under the stem? Now with the Cento10NDR the overall look of the bike will be clean and balanced, while at the same time race-ready. Cento10NDR is a race-ready frame similar to the Cento10PRO, our high-end, light, and aerodynamic racing model. As with the Cento10PRO, Cento10NDR was developed according to NACA Low-Speed rules' aeronautical algorithms that allow us to design the frame tubes with the highest possible aerodynamic efficiency. Alongside the NACA algorithms, Wilier uses another important concept in aerodynamics: the Kamm theory. Indeed, all profiles are designed with a Kamm tail, reducing weight and increasing stiffness without negatively affecting the aerodynamic efficiency of the tube itself. Cento10NDR was the first road bike whose frame and fork could be mounted with either type of brakes: flat mount 160 mm rotor disc brakes with thru-axles or traditional direct mount rim brakes with quick release. This solution expands the available configurations of the Cento10NDR, meaning the frame is always ready for an upgrade. The fork and rear triangle have been designed to accommodate a wide range of tires: up to 28 mm with the rim brakes or up to 30 mm with disc brakes. ACTIFLEX is the heart of the Cento10NDR frame, a new way to connect the seatpost and seatstays. Using a carefully designed aluminum link and a technopolymer dissipater, they have given the rear wheel a few millimeters of travel. The torsional stiffness of the aluminum link remains comparable to traditional monocoque carbon seatstays, despite the ACTIFLEX. This stiffness gives the frame racing performance, while at the same time allowing the rear wheel to move up and down over bumps caused by imperfections in the road surface. Connected to the aluminum link is a dissipater that stabilizes the kinematic movement of the rear triangle. This special technopolymer has amazing physical properties, high atmospheric resistance, and can function in temperatures from -40°F to 302°F. The dissipater is made in three different colors to distinguish the different levels of density, meaning that ACTIFLEX can be fine tuned according to the weight of the rider and/or the type of terrain they typically encounter on their bike.
