True Wheel
Front, minor  $27  WL1.1  Includes adjusting lateral true, radial true, centering, and tension average. Not applicable if spokes need replacement, nipples are damaged or corroded, rim is damaged, or the degree of true errors are in the worse half of the normal range.

Rear, minor  $27  WL1.2  Includes adjusting lateral true, radial true, centering, and tension average. Not applicable if spokes need replacement, nipples are damaged or corroded, rim is damaged, or the degree of true errors are in the worse half of the normal range.

Front, major  $74  WL1.3  Includes adjusting lateral true, radial true, centering, tension average and tension balancing. Applicable when a spoke or two needs replacement, nipples are corroded or damaged, and/or when degree of true error(s) is in the worse half of normal range. If rim is damaged (and possibly repairable), or numerous spokes need replacement due to damage, add WL2.

Rear, major  $74  WL1.4  Includes adjusting lateral true, radial true, centering, tension average and tension balancing. Applicable when a spoke or two needs replacement, nipples are corroded or damaged, and/or when degree of true error(s) is in the worse half of normal range. If rim is damaged (and possibly repairable), or numerous spokes need replacement due to damage, add WL2.

Surcharge for repairing minor wheel damage  $40  WL2  Applicable if rim has minor repairable damage, if multiple spokes have been damaged and are being replaced, or if multiple nipples need replacement due to damage or corrosion.CAUTION: REPAIRABILITY OF RIM DAMAGE IS DIFFICULT TO ASSESS WITHOUT ACTUALLY ATTEMPTING THE REPAIR. IF USING THIS SURCHARGE, THE SHOP OR CUSTOMER MUST AGREE IN ADVANCE TO THE RISK OF ATTEMPTING RIM REPAIR WITHOUT SUCCESS! A DAMAGED RIM CAN ONLY BE CONSIDERED SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED IF BOTH THE TRUE TOLERANCES ARE IN THE ACCEPABLE RANGE **AND** THE SPOKE TENSIONS ARE RESPECTABLY UNIFORM.

Build Symmetrical Flange Wheel (Fronts, except with disc brake)
With wheel and tire removal & reinstallation 

 $108  WL3.1  Includes cutting of old spokes, selecting spoke length, lacing spoke to rim, and all aspects of truing; does not include R&R of wheel, tire, or freewheel.
With tire removal & reinstallation only

 $102  WL3.2  Same as WL3.1, but applicable when the wheel is supplied off the bike, or if it is off the bike within the context of an additional repair job; tire removal and installation is included.
With no wheel and tire removal & reinstallation 

 $95  WL3.3  Same as WL3.1, but applicable when there is no tire or bike involved.
Build Asymmetrical Flange Wheel (All rear hubs. front disc hubs)

With wheel, frwhl. and tire removal & reinstallation 

 $126  WL4.1  Includes cutting out old spokes, selecting spoke length, lacing spokes to rim, and all aspects of truing; applicable when the wheel starts out installed, and ends up installed on the bike.
With freewheel and tire removal & reinstallation only

$119 WL4.2 Same as WL4.1, but applicable when the tire and freewheel require R&R for no other reason than to build the wheel, but the wheel is supplied off the bike, or if it is off the bike within the context of an additional repair job.
With freewheel removal & reinstallation only

 $113  WL4.3  Same as WL4.1, but applicable when the freewheel requires R&R for no other reason than to build the wheel, but the wheel is supplied off the bike with the tire removed, or the wheel and tire are removed within the context of another repair job.
With no wheel, freewheel, or tire, removal & reinstallation required. 

 $98  WL4.4  Same as WL4.1, but applicable when the wheel starts and finishes bare of a tire and freewheel, and does not end up installed on the bike.
Aero Spoke Surcharge to All True Wheels and Build Wheels Above

 $23  WL5  Added to any WL3 or WL4 job when building with non-round spokes to compensate for the extra effort of aligning the plane of the spokes parallel to the plane of the wheel.
Wheelsmith Spoke Prep Surcharge on All Build Wheels Above

 $29  WL6  Added to any WL3 or WL4 job when building with Wheelsmith spoke prep to compensate for the extra effort of applying the compound to the threads.
Tubular Tire Installation Surcharge on All Build Wheel With Tire R&R

 $74  WL7  Added to WL3.1, WL3.2, WL4.1, WL4.2 to compensate for the extra effort of gluing on a tubular tire compared to a clincher installation. Not a tubular tire installation (see Tires and Tubes).
Install Replacement Rear Wheel
With stock wheel

 $34  WL8.1  Applicable when the shop's stock replacement wheel is an adequate match to the original hub's freewheel space dimension and overall locknut width; includes tire R&R, freewheel R&R, minor derailleur limit screw adjustment, and cable tension adjustment.
With modifications to make stock wheel fit

 WL8.2  Applicable when the shop's stock replacement wheel must have the hub spacing modified to match the customer's original freewheel and frame; includes re-spacing the hub, centering adjustment, centering the rim to the hub after re-spacing, tire R&R, freewheel R&R, minor derailleur limit screw adjustment, and cable tension adjustment.
Install Replacement Front Wheel

With stock wheel 

 $23  WL9.1 Applicable when the shop's stock replacement wheel is an adequate match to the original hub's overall locknut width; includes tire R&R
With modifications to make stock wheel fit 

 $33  WL9.2 

Applicable when the shop's stock replacement wheel must have the hub spacing modified to match the customer's original fork width; includes tire R&R.
