Adjust Loose-Ball Bottom Bracket -  

Without arm removal

  $17  BB1.1  Secure the fixed cup, adjust the adjustable cup, and secure the lockring. Applicable when the arms are removed within the context of another job, or when the bottom bracket type or tools allow adjustment without arm removal.

Adjust Loose-Ball Bottom Bracket - 

With arm removal & reinstallation (both)

 $27 BB1.2 Same as BB1.1. Applicable when the crankarms are removed only for the purpose of facilitating bottom bracket adjustment.
Overhaul or Replace Loose-Ball Bottom Bracket  $69 BB2 Remove crank arms; remove adjustable cup, spindle and fixed cup; clean and inspect parts; install fixed cup with Loctite #242; assemble with fresh grease and balls; precision adjust and secure lockring; reinstall crank arms. Conditions discovered during this procedure may lead to the addition of BB6 and BB7.

Overhaul or Replace Loose-Ball Bottom Bracket with Shell Tapping and Facing 

 $125 BB3 Same as BB2, but includes tapping and facing.
Install Threaded Cartridge Bearing Bottom Bracket(conventional and external types)  $36 BB4 Covers Shimano, Race Face, Suntour, Mavic, Stronglight, Sugino, Phil Wood, Bullseye and Edco types; includes removal of old bottom bracket, and removal & reinstallation of crank arms. Conditions discovered during this procedure may lead to the addition of BB6 and BB7.

Replace cartridge bearings in FSA/RaceFace/Shimano external type BB

 $45.50 BB4.5 Includes removal & reinstallation of crankarms, R&R of BB assembly, removing old cartridge bearings and installing new bearings.
Replace cartridge bearings for Campagnolo Ultra-Torque type crankset

 $33 BB4.6 Includes removal & reinstallation of crankarms, removing old cartridge bearings and installing new bearings.
Install Pressed-In Cartridge-Bearing Bottom Bracket (BMX and others)

 $68.50 BB5 Covers current BMX and older Fisher, Klein, and Fat Chance; special tools specific to one brand required in some cases; includes R&R of old bracket and arms.
Re-Tap Bottom Bracket Shell Threads  $22 BB6 Applicable to BB2 and BB4 when thread condition is poor, but no facing will be done. Applicable to bare frame - cranks and bottom bracket are already removed.

Tap and Face Bottom Bracket Shell  $44 BB7 Applied as a separate charge only when the customer will receive the bare frame.

Surcharge to Hand File Chrome Shell Faces Before Facing 

 Hourly  BB8 Add to BB3 and BB7 when shell faces are chromed; no flat rate can be applied due to wide variables in chrome thickness.
Ream and Tap Bottom Bracket Shell to Convert Stripped Threads to Italian Thread 

 $125 BB9 Includes reaming out shell (special tool required), and tapping with Italian taps.
