THE FUTURE OF E-ROADS

Cento10 Hybrid is the racing bicycle with pedal assist that sets a new, very high, standard for the category. There are so many aspects that make it unique on the market: aerodynamics, total integration, lightness and greater riding safety, just to name a few.With the Cento1 Hybrid, we already reached a high level of quality in pedal assist racing bikes. Now, with the Cento10 version, we reach heights of construction quality that were unimaginable until a short while ago.You can redefine the limits of your own experience on a racing bike with with a design and level of integration that make it even more similar than ever to a traditional racing bike.

The motor is positioned inside the hub of the rear wheel so the lower bracket can be sized like that of a regular bicycle. This lets you install standard chainsets. This solution maintains the pedalling sensation of a traditional bicycle.

In common with Wilier's other road-racing bikes, all of the Cento10 Hybrid’s cables are integrated inside the frame. We chose this solution not only for its sleeker looks, but also to improve performance. In addition to hiding the cables inside the handlebar and the frame, we also improved aerodynamics thanks to the tubes we used on the Cento10 Hybrid.

Smaller volumes, smaller surface area exposed to the air and truncated tail profiles improve aerodynamics by 8 %, with respect to the Cento1 Hybrid.

Wilier's Ebikemotion division has partnered with automotive technology supply leader Mahle to develop and manufacture some of the lightest and best integrated pedal assist systems on the market.

The X35+ PAS includes a series of components that integrate seamlessly into the latest racing bikes. Weighing just 3.5 kg overall (motor, battery, cables and controller), it’s one of the lightest PAS on the market. Our X35+ version uses the ANT+ communication protocol to connect to the most advanced cyclocomputers on the market.

The drive motor is installed in the rear wheel hub, engaging assistance fluidly and silently. When you stop pedalling, or your speed exceeds 25 km/h, power output stops with no sensation of braking friction.

40 Nm torque is perfect for road or light gravel use. This well-balanced power helps better manage battery life on faster and more competitive routes. The sensation when assistance engages is similar to when someone gives the bike a push on a hill or in a standing start.

Modest capacity perfect for lightweight pedal-assist bikes like our Hybrid series. The battery is small for easy containment inside the down tube. The system's total capacity gives you peace of mind for outings with major altitude differences.

Extra battery life expands your pedalling horizons. Battery capacity increases power delivery time by about 80%. The additional battery can be attached to the seat tube using the rivets for the second water bottle holder.

The lightest PAS on the market. The miniaturised components plus a hearty dose of technical characteristics provide record weight performance.

The system uses ANT+ to dialogue with third-party devices. This provides all kinds of additional information that can be displayed on the latest cyclocomputers, such as Garmin and Polar.

The truly lightweight motor’s maximal 250 W of power boosts pedalling effectiveness. The motor engages following the power delivery curve based on how you use the bike. Cadence triggers fluid and effective power with no feeling of resistance.

Wilier also studied and improved the bottom bracket to achieve that look typical of a traditional racing bike. The Q Factor and the size of the crankset are identical to those of a Cento10PRO. Thanks to the new configuration, we were able to improve the tightness of the charging outlet. Compared to the previous version, the Cento10 Hybrid’s charging outlet is inclined by 60° from the top tube. So, if it rains or if water gets onto the charging outlet, it flows away without affecting the electrical system.

They significantly improved riding safety with iWoc’s new button configuration. The button is now installed with a support on the handlebar, allowing riders to interact with the Ebikemotion system without having to remove their hands from the handlebar. On the Cento10 Hybrid, riders can both select the assistance level selection and check the battery charge while keeping both hands on the top of the handlebar. On previous models, they had to remove their hand from the handlebar and look down at the button on the top tube.
