THE PRIORITY START 24" HELPS EXPAND A YOUNG RIDER'S EXPERIENCE BEFORE TRANSITIONING TO AN ADULT BICYCLE
Priority's Start Series was inspired by their very own kids! They designed the Start 24” for young riders with a skill level that ranges from intermediate to advanced who are on the verge of their first adult bicycle—but still need a bit more time before taking that step. The Start 24” generally fits riders who are 7-13 years old. From suburban rides with long inclines and spread-out bike paths, to paved trails and rugged hills that are a real challenge, the Start 24” provides the quality, simplicity, style, and low maintenance promise that defines the Priority Bicycles experience.
The 24-inch bicycle needs to have a lot of flexibility to accommodate advancing skills and to fit riders across a broad size range. The features also need to perform well on varied terrain. They've worked hard to ensure our Start 24" model meets those challenges while being low maintenance, long lasting, and a good value. Riders can use the Start 24" as they grow in size and strength before transitioning to an adult-sized bicycle. With its high quality frame and components, we want the Start 24" to last beyond just one child—so it can be handed down to family and friends.
- Free assembly - Although Priority states that their bikes come 95% assembled there are many other adjustments to be made. What if a rotor is bent? What if the wheels aren't true? What if its damaged in shipping?
- Every bike is assembled by me, Travis, and I've been doing this since 1986. I use Snap-On calibrated torque wrenches and the best tools available.
- Free disc brake bed-in. It's part of the assembly process. Disc brakes will perform better, last longer, and be quieter when they've been properly bed-in. You can read more about it by clicking HERE.

- Easy Returns - If for some reason you'd like to return your bike, you simply wheel it into the shop and I take care of it. If you buy it from them, you have to box it up (or pay to have it boxed), pay for shipping, wait for them to receive and inspect it, then wait for your refund.
- No shipping charges - It's included in the price. However, I can deliver it to you (Mondays) up to 50 miles. Price for delivery depends on distance and purchase price. Select delivery at checkout to see the price.

Chains are the # 1 issue on bicycles. They get dirty, fall off, and they're at a perfect height for kids to grab and then get grease everywhere. Our rust-free and grease-free Gates Belt is cleaner, smoother, and doesn’t require maintenance. Also, it won’t snap off or break under the weight of a rider.
This is the same industry-leading Shimano hub that's featured on our adult models. The 3-speed internally geared hub carries the same range as a 7-speed cassette, in a cleaner, more efficient, ultra low-maintenance package.
The Start 24" can grow with your young rider. The adjustable stem raises and lowers for comfort across a wide range of ages and sizes.
Dual handbrake levers connected to smooth stopping v-brakes allow for a comfortable, confident ride. The levers are placed at a kid-friendly reach for their smaller hands.
Kids bikes get left on lawns with sprinklers, tossed in the back of cars, dropped, and any number of other things that happen with our little ones. The lightweight aluminum frame won’t rust, neither will the alloy wheels and stainless steel spokes. It’s a quality bike built to last long enough for sharing with siblings and friends.
It’s an awesome feeling when your kids are ready to ride with—and without— you. But road debris and sharp stones on bike paths can be a real bummer. Our puncture-resistant tires help protect against unwanted flats.
