The fork and triangle construction has been revised to optimize the forces generated by disc braking. Surly made sure it can run discs, racks, and fenders with no jury rigging, a somewhat unique feature they've just now decided to call Simulpatibility. You'll need to outfit it with the extras you want, like fenders and racks. Surly doesn't include that stuff because everybody's needs are different. Ritchey Break-Away Steel Road Frameset

The Break-Away Road frame is made from Ritchey heat-treated CrMo butted steel tubing and includes a Ritchey WCS Carbon Fork and headset. Aside from its fantastic ride performance, the magic of this bike is in its patented locking compression system, which adds only 100 grams to the weight of the bike. The downtube is split near the bottom bracket and is fastened together with a simple locking ring. A double seatpost clamp up top secures the frame there. This system is strong and completely reliable—you'll never know you're riding a bike that you can split in half and pack in its own bag in less than twenty minutes. Cento1NDR is the new member of the NDR family, adding a mid-range price point endurance road model to Wilier's collection. It comes from the same mold as the highly successful Cento10NDR, and it not only shares the same geometry and tube shapes, but even has the same high modulus carbon fiber composition and the same dual brake compatibility. The main difference is the lack of the Actiflex system, and lack of internal cable routing of Cento10NDR. Nevertheless, the Cento1NDR represents an exciting new value in Wilier's mid-range endurance road bike lineup. The geometries of the frame and the particular construction of the rear chainstays guarantee the cyclist a feeling of racing comfort: pure performance without having to give up comfort. Staying in the saddle for a long time will be much less tiring: the rear triangle was sized and designed for maximum absorption of vertical stress generated by rough road surfaces. The transfer of pedal power is guaranteed to have maximum efficiency thanks to a torsional stiffness comparable to a racing frame. Cento10NDR was the first road bike whose frame and fork could be mounted with either type of brakes: flat mount 160 mm rotor disc brakes with thru-axles or traditional direct mount rim brakes with quick release. Now the Cento1NDR also has this flexibility. This solution expands the available configurations of the Cento1NDR, meaning the frame is always ready for an upgrade. The fork and rear triangle have been designed to accommodate a wide range of tires: up to 28 mm with the rim brakes or up to 30 mm with disc brakes.

Steel is back with this competition frame made with Columbus Spirit super oversize triple-butted tubes. Entirely made in Italy. A classic look with modern details, from the head tube to the monocoque carbon fork and molded chain stays to contrast transmission force. The T.I.G. welding technique allows for a myriad of custom geometries and increases the frame stiffness. The 1.5" tapered head tube with the Columbus monocoque FEL fork increases the reactivity of the frame and the handling of the bike. The Cinelli Supercorsa is the world’s most iconic steel bicycle frame and has been in uninterrupted production for almost 70 years. The first Supercorsa was designed by Cino Cinelli, together with his framebuilder Luigi Valsassina in the early 1950s. His stated goal was “the perfect functional harmony between the three main parts of the frame: the fork, the main triangle and the rear stays.” This harmony was to be achieved through the development of stiffness, elasticity, aerodynamics and aesthetics, with each component of the frame completely redesigned according to the radical criteria of Cino, the stubborn perfectionist. After 15 years experimenting with and refining what he described as the most “philosophical” piece of equipment produced by his brand, Cino and Valsassina arrived at the iconic solutions still so clearly recognizable in today’s Supercorsa: the proprietary sloping fork crown, the double-bolt fastback seat stays, pointed lugs and perfect Italian stage racing geometry.
